Heard some whispers that comp has been pretty solid, especially for performance-driven roles. Bonuses seem tied to production and commodity prices, which makes sense given the sector. Base pay adjustments are probably more standard, maybe annual reviews. Stock options could be volatile depending on the market, but the company's recent performance might be factoring in positively there. Definitely feels like they're trying to retain talent, which is a good sign if you're in the thick of it.
From what I've gathered, Diamondback's compensation seems to be keeping pace, if not slightly ahead, for many positions. Bonus structures are definitely weighted towards company and individual targets, so hitting those numbers is key. I haven't seen drastic shifts in base salaries, but the bonus potential appears to be where the real movement is, especially with the oil price fluctuations. Might be worth looking at their proxy statements for more on the executive side, but for general employees, it seems competitive.
