Thinking about applying for a role at Diamondback and wanted to see if anyone has gone through their interview process recently. Specifically looking for insights into the types of questions asked (technical vs. behavioral), the typical interview stages, and the general vibe of the hiring managers. I've heard good things about the company culture in the past, but layoffs can sometimes shift that. Any advice on how to best prepare or what to highlight in the interview would be super helpful. Trying to get a feel for the current hiring climate there. Thanks in advance!

I interviewed with them about six months ago for a technical role. It was a pretty standard process: initial recruiter screen, then a technical interview with a manager and a senior engineer, and finally an HR/culture fit interview. They definitely asked a good mix of technical questions related to reservoir engineering and some behavioral ones about teamwork and problem-solving. Overall, the hiring managers seemed focused on finding people who could hit the ground running and fit into their fast-paced environment. Good luck with your application!
