Hey all, been with DBX for a few years now and things have felt a bit... quiet lately. Usually, there's a buzz about upcoming projects or team expansions, but it's been radio silence for the past month or so. Some of the usual internal chatter about new roles being posted has also died down. I haven't seen any official announcements or anything concrete, but I'm getting a weird vibe. Has anyone else picked up on anything? Maybe a slowdown in approvals for new positions, or a general halt on external hiring? Curious if this is just a seasonal lull or something more. Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the atmosphere feels different than usual heading into the latter half of the year. Let me know if you've heard anything, even rumors.

I'm not hearing anything official about a hiring freeze, but I agree the pace has definitely slowed down. It feels like approvals are taking longer than usual, and there's less movement on new openings. Could just be a seasonal dip, but it's definitely noticeable after the usual Q2 ramp-up. Hopefully, it's nothing serious and just a temporary adjustment.

Been seeing some of the same things. The usual internal job boards seem a bit stagnant, and I haven't heard about any new initiatives being staffed up. It's hard to say for sure without confirmation, but the lack of activity is definitely a talking point among colleagues. Fingers crossed it's just a brief pause before things pick back up.
