Diamondback Energy: Seeing increased 'performance management' discussions?

Hey everyone, been with DBX for a few years now and lately, I've been hearing more chatter about 'performance management' and 'efficiency reviews' than I ever have before. It's not just my team, it seems to be bubbling up across different departments. Some folks are interpreting it as a prelude to something bigger, especially with the current market volatility. Anyone else picking up on this? Are these just standard business practices or is there a more concerning undercurrent at play? Trying to gauge if I'm overthinking it or if others are feeling the same unease. Curious to hear what others are seeing and hearing on the ground.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. Seems like a lot of companies are tightening things up, and DBX is probably no different. Performance management can just be a way to ensure everyone's aligned and productive, especially when things get a bit uncertain. Could just be standard procedure to make sure the company is running as lean and effectively as possible. Hopefully, it's just about optimizing operations and not a sign of bigger issues down the line. It's always good to be aware, though.
