Not seeing any official layoff news, which is great, but I wanted to create a space to discuss the general atmosphere at DLR right now. Lately, it feels like there's more emphasis on 'efficiency' and 'streamlining' in meetings. Budgets seem tighter, and I've noticed a slowdown in approvals for new projects or even just team initiatives. It's not overt, but the vibe is definitely shifting. Is this just a seasonal thing, or are others feeling this increasing pressure to do more with less? Curious to hear if anyone has experienced similar shifts or has any insights into where leadership might be steering the ship. Trying to stay focused on my work, but it's hard not to notice the subtle changes. Would love to hear from others in different departments too.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed the 'efficiency' push too. It feels like every meeting, every email, is geared towards squeezing more out of existing resources. Project approvals are taking longer, and it's becoming harder to get sign-off for anything that isn't absolutely critical. I'm right there with you. The 'streamlining' talk has been constant, and you can feel the increased scrutiny on spending. Even small team expenses are getting more questions than usual.
