Anyone else feeling the uncertainty at Discover right now?

Been with Discover for a few years now, and things have felt a bit... 'off' lately. It's not just performance reviews or project shifts. There's a general hum of anxiety across teams. I've seen some external news mentioning potential layoffs tied to acquisitions or restructuring, and honestly, it's hard to ignore. Management isn't really addressing anything concrete, which just fuels the speculation. Are others in similar boats? Is this a Discover-specific thing, or just the general vibe in financial services right now? Trying to figure out if I should be updating my resume or just riding it out. The lack of clear communication is the worst part. Feels like we're all waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I've been noticing the same unease. It's more than just the usual corporate chatter. The lack of clear communication from leadership is definitely adding to the stress. You hear whispers about changes, but nothing solid. It makes it hard to plan or even feel secure in your role. Hopefully, we'll get some transparency soon because this uncertainty is affecting morale.

Yeah, I feel it too. It's unsettling when there's so much talk about restructuring and potential shifts in the market, and leadership stays pretty quiet. It's understandable why people are anxious, especially when you see reports about other companies making moves. Just hoping for some clarity so everyone can focus on the work instead of worrying about what's next.
