Hiring Freeze or Just Slowdown at Discover?

Seeing a lot of roles posted and then suddenly disappear or get 'put on hold' lately. Is anyone else in the same boat? Applied for a few positions over the last month, and they've either gone dark or the recruiters have gone silent. I know the market can be tough, but this feels more deliberate than usual. Trying to figure out if it's a company-wide hiring freeze, a significant slowdown, or just specific departments being cautious. Anyone have insights from their managers or HR contacts? Trying to understand if it's worth continuing the job search aggressively within DFS or if I should be looking elsewhere. This uncertainty is making it hard to plan.

I've noticed a similar pattern with Discover. Applied for a couple of roles recently and the recruiters went completely silent after the initial screening. It's definitely frustrating to see openings advertised and then have them vanish without any communication. Makes it hard to gauge where things stand. Hoping to hear from someone with more concrete information about what's happening internally. It's making planning a bit difficult, to be honest.
