Been keeping an eye on open positions across Discover, and it feels like the brakes have been put on. We had a few roles posted a couple of months back that seem to have gone dark, and the new postings are few and far between, with very specific requirements. Normally, this time of year can be a bit slower, but this feels different. More like a freeze than a seasonal dip. I'm wondering if this is a broader company strategy to control costs ahead of potential headwinds, or if it's tied to specific business unit performance. My manager has been tight-lipped when asked about future staffing needs, just giving vague answers about 'aligning with business priorities.' Anyone else in a similar situation? Are you seeing hiring freezes in your areas, or are things still moving along as usual? Trying to understand if this is a company-wide signal or just localized to certain departments.
