That’s exactly how it started last year. When the recurring syncs start vanishing, it’s rarely a glitch; it’s usually someone cleaning up the calendar before the final push. I’ve been around long enough to recognize the pattern of silence from leadership. If your manager is dodging messages or going dark on Slack, they probably know more than they can say right now. Don't waste your energy worrying about shipping; focus on getting your personal files and contacts backed up today. It’s better to be prepared for the worst than to be left scrambling when the access suddenly cuts out.
I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. It could easily be an integration issue or a mass-reschedule triggered by the new org-wide update. Sometimes people overthink the internal calendar movements when they’re already stressed, and it turns into a massive rumor mill. I’ve checked my own invites and everything seems fine for now. That said, if you’re genuinely concerned about the company’s stability, there’s no harm in updating your resume on the down-low. Just try not to spiral until you actually see some official communication, because panic doesn't help anyone's productivity.
