Ugh, I feel this so hard. Been there, done that. My last company was exactly the same. Skip-level would constantly 'check in' which really meant they were just finding new ways to criticize progress. PTO is a good call, honestly. Use it to clear your head and maybe even start quietly looking around. Sometimes a change of scenery is the only solution. Don't let them burn you out completely. Your mental health is worth more than any job.
Honestly, hourly updates sound excessive, but maybe there's a reason for the urgency? DocuSign *is* facing increased competition. Perhaps try to understand the 'why' behind the pressure? Schedule a meeting with your skip-level and ask directly about their concerns and how you can help alleviate them. Frame it as wanting to better understand the priorities and contribute more effectively. It might diffuse some of the tension, and you'll at least know where you stand.
