Preparing for the worst at DOCU - advice?

Not looking for rumors, but looking for advice. Given the recent chatter and the general state of the sector, I’ve decided to stop waiting for the hammer to drop and start prepping my exit. I’ve been at DocuSign for over three years, but I feel like the company culture has shifted significantly since the last round of cuts. It’s hard to stay motivated when you’re constantly looking over your shoulder to see if your team is still on the roadmap for next year. I’ve started dusting off my resume and reaching out to my network, but I’m curious if anyone here has tips specifically for people jumping ship from DocuSign right now. Are recruiters looking at our tech stack favorably, or are we being viewed as 'damaged goods' because of the persistent layoff headlines? I’m feeling pretty burnt out and the lack of clarity from the top is making it impossible to care about the current sprint. If you’re currently in the interview process or have already left, how are you spinning the current internal atmosphere? Any advice on handling the 'why are you leaving' question without burning bridges would be appreciated. Stay strong everyone.

Smart move. Three years is a solid tenure, and you should leverage that experience before the market gets any tighter. When culture shifts this drastically, it’s usually a sign that leadership is prioritizing short-term metrics over long-term stability. Don't wait for a formal notice to update your LinkedIn or reach out to your network. Focus on highlighting specific projects where you drove efficiency or revenue growth. Being proactive is the best way to regain control over your career trajectory during such uncertain periods.
