Dollar General - Store closings rumors swirling?

Hey DG folks, has anyone else been hearing whispers about potential store closures? It's not official, no WARN notices or anything, but the vibe in my district feels...off. We've had a few managers from nearby stores suddenly transfer out, and there's been talk about 'underperforming locations' being reviewed. My SM is usually tight-lipped but even they seem a bit stressed lately. Anyone else in other regions seeing anything similar? Is this just the usual seasonal slowdown or something more concerning on the horizon? Trying to gauge if I should be updating the resume or if this is just office paranoia.

Yeah, I've heard some rumblings too, though nothing concrete. We had a district meeting last week where they talked a lot about 'optimizing our footprint' and 'strategic adjustments.' It felt like code for something, but nobody would say it outright. Seems like every company is doing some sort of restructuring these days. Hoping it doesn't affect my store, but the uncertainty is definitely making things tense around here.
