Anyone else noticing the weird 'restructuring' chatter in CSC?

Is it just me, or has the vibe in the Chesapeake office shifted significantly over the last three weeks? I’ve been hearing whispers about 'operational efficiency' and 'realigning resources' during every single town hall, but nobody is actually saying the L-word. My manager keeps dodging questions about our Q4 budget and projects that were supposed to be greenlit are suddenly on an indefinite hold. I’ve been here long enough to know that when leadership starts pivoting to buzzwords instead of answering direct questions, something is coming down the pipeline. I'm seeing a lot of people updating their LinkedIn profiles, which makes me feel like I’m the only one left in the dark. Has anyone heard anything concrete, or are we all just collectively spiraling over nothing? The silence is honestly worse than a formal announcement at this point.

The 'operational efficiency' talk is exactly what we heard right before the last round of cuts. When they start hiding behind buzzwords like 'realigning resources' instead of giving a straight answer about the Q4 budget, it usually means the decision has already been made and they’re just waiting for the right moment to pull the plug. Don't wait for them to be honest with you; keep your resume updated and start networking now. If your projects are on hold, it’s a clear signal that the company is looking to trim costs in your department.
