Dollar Tree - Anyone else seeing performance metric changes?

Newer to the Dollar Tree corporate scene, maybe 8 months in at [another department, e.g., Supply Chain]. Things seemed pretty steady when I started, but lately, it feels like the goalposts for performance are constantly moving. My manager keeps bringing up new KPIs and emphasizing efficiency. It's not necessarily a bad thing to be efficient, but it feels like there's an underlying pressure to 'do more with less.' Had a few one-on-ones where the conversation veered towards 'streamlining processes,' which usually translates to fewer people or more work for existing staff. Is this just the usual retail cycle, or is anyone else feeling a distinct change in how performance is being measured and what's expected?

Yeah, I've noticed that too, maybe not exactly the same metrics, but the general vibe. Seems like there's a constant push for optimization across the board. It's definitely a challenge to keep up when the targets keep shifting, and the expectation is always to find new ways to be more productive without necessarily adding resources. Just trying to stay focused on what I can control and adapt as best as possible. Hope things stabilize for you soon.
