Applied to Dollar Tree recently and got an offer. Haven't seen any layoff reports, but the retail environment feels unpredictable these days. For those who have been hired in the last few months, how are things going? Is the training decent? Are they maintaining staffing levels, or does it feel like they're stretched thin? Any red flags I should be aware of before accepting? Just trying to make an informed decision. The pay is decent for what it is, but I want to make sure it's a stable place to work for the foreseeable future, or at least until I find something better. Appreciate any insights.

Congrats on the offer! From what I've seen, staffing can be a bit hit or miss depending on the store. Some locations are pretty well-staffed and training is usually okay, focusing on the basics. If your store is busy, you might feel that stretch, but if you're looking for decent pay and a relatively stable gig, it's worth considering. Just be prepared for the usual retail hustle.
