Dollar Tree: Anyone else seeing major cutbacks in store staffing?

Hey everyone, been working at DT for a bit now and things have been getting weird. Seems like every week another position is getting consolidated or hours are getting slashed. My manager is constantly juggling tasks that used to be handled by two people. We're barely keeping up with stocking, let alone customer service. Anyone else experiencing this? Feels like they're pushing for a skeleton crew model, and honestly, it's not sustainable. Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if my district is just particularly hard hit. Getting a bit worried about job security, even though there's been no official word. Feels like we're heading towards something, just not sure what.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed it at my local Dollar Tree. It's gotten so bad that sometimes there's only one person on the register, and they're also trying to stock shelves and help customers find things. The lines get incredibly long, and the poor employee looks completely overwhelmed. It makes me feel bad for them, honestly. I hope things improve because it's really impacting the shopping experience.

I've seen this too. It's sad to see, especially when you know how hard the remaining staff are working. They used to have multiple people stocking, but now it's often just one or two trying to keep up with a full truck. It's a shame because the stores are getting so packed, and it's hard to find what you're looking for when things aren't properly put out. Seems like a race to the bottom.
