Dollar Tree: Is hiring becoming impossible?

Just wondering if anyone else in management or with hiring responsibilities at Dollar Tree is struggling to fill open positions. We've had several roles open for weeks, if not months, and the applicant pool is dismal. The few people who do show up for interviews either aren't qualified or just ghost us. It's gotten to the point where we're basically begging people to take the jobs. This is leading to insane amounts of overtime for the existing staff, which, as you can imagine, is burning people out. I'm starting to worry about the long-term impact on store operations and morale. Is the pay just not competitive enough anymore? Are people avoiding retail altogether? It's a real head-scratcher and frankly, it's making my job incredibly stressful.
