Dollar Tree: Significant reduction in store hours lately?

Hey everyone, I'm in the Northeast region and it feels like our store hours have been quietly slashed over the past couple of months. We used to be open until 9 or 10 pm, but now it's closing at 7 or 8 pm most nights, even on weekends. This isn't being communicated broadly, just seems like scheduling is getting tighter and tighter. We're also seeing reduced inventory days and fewer trucks, which means we're constantly struggling to keep shelves stocked. Is this happening elsewhere? It feels like they're preparing for something, or just trying to cut costs to the bone before a bigger announcement. I haven't seen any official layoff notices, but this feels like a precursor. Anyone else experiencing this across different regions?

Yeah, I've noticed something similar at my local Dollar Tree here in the Midwest. The closing time seems to have shifted earlier, and it's definitely more noticeable now that summer is winding down. I just figured it was a seasonal thing or maybe staffing shortages, but it's concerning to hear it might be a wider trend. Stock levels have been a bit hit-or-miss too, which is a bummer when you rely on them for certain household items. Hopefully, it's just a temporary adjustment and not indicative of bigger issues.

I'm on the West Coast and haven't seen a huge change in store hours, but the inventory situation is definitely a pain. It feels like certain popular items are always out of stock, and the shelves look emptier than usual. It's frustrating when you make a special trip and can't find what you need. I'm not sure if it's supply chain problems or just how they're managing stock now, but it does make you wonder what's going on behind the scenes.
