Dollar Tree: Significant understaffing across multiple regions?

Hey everyone, been lurking here for a bit, but wanted to throw something out there. I'm seeing a serious lack of staff at my store, and it's not just a busy day thing. We're talking bare-bones staffing for opening, closing, and everything in between. Inventory is piling up, customer service is suffering because we literally can't get to everyone, and management seems either clueless or unconcerned. Has anyone else noticed this trend? Are they intentionally cutting hours/staffing to save costs, or is this just a symptom of a larger problem with hiring/retention? Feels like we're constantly being asked to do more with less, and it's unsustainable. Wondering if this is a widespread issue or if I'm in a particularly bad spot. Any insights would be appreciated.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed that at my local Dollar Tree. It's gotten so bad that sometimes there's only one person on the entire floor, struggling to ring people up while also trying to restock shelves and answer questions. You can see the frustration on their faces, and honestly, it makes the shopping experience pretty unpleasant. I've had to leave items behind before because no one was available to help me find something or even check if it was in the back. It's a shame, because I used to love popping in there for quick essentials.
