Dominion Energy - What's up with the hiring freeze?

Has anyone else noticed a sudden halt on new hires at Dominion? My department had a few requisitions open, and they were all suddenly put on indefinite hold last week. HR is giving vague answers, saying it's a 'temporary pause' due to 'evolving business needs.' This comes right after those 'efficiency reviews' that have been going around. Coincidence? I don't think so. Feels like a pretty clear signal that things are tightening up. Trying to figure out if this is a company-wide thing or if I'm just in a department that's being targeted. Anyone else's teams experiencing this? It's creating a lot of extra work for those of us still here and adding to the general anxiety. Let's compare notes.

Yeah, I've definitely heard whispers about this. My team also had some roles we were trying to fill, and they just vanished from the system without much explanation. This is concerning. I'm in a different division, but we're also experiencing significant slowdowns in approvals and a general sense of uncertainty regarding future projects.
