Domino's Management - What's the vibe? Layoff rumors?

Hey everyone. Been working at a Domino's location for a couple of years now, and lately, the atmosphere has felt... weird. It's not just us drivers or front-of-house feeling it. Heard some whispers from shift managers about potential restructuring or budget cuts at the corporate level. Nothing concrete, but enough to make me wonder if something's brewing. Anyone else in a management or assistant manager role seeing any signs of trouble? Is there a hiring freeze we're not officially aware of? Are they looking at closing underperforming stores? Just trying to get a sense of what might be coming down the pipeline. This job is my main source of income, so any heads-up would be appreciated. Feels like we're always the first to feel the economic shifts, whether it's good or bad.

I'm a shift lead at a store about 500 miles away and yeah, things have felt a bit tight lately. We've definitely slowed down on ordering supplies, and there was a recent push for 'efficiency' that felt like code for 'do more with less.' Haven't heard anything about layoffs directly, but the general vibe is definitely one of caution. Makes you wonder if they're prepping for something big, good or bad.

Assistant manager here, and I've been getting the same gut feeling. We've had a few positions open up that they're dragging their feet on filling, and I've noticed some internal communications that seem to be very focused on cost-saving measures. It's creating a bit of unease among the team, especially since sales haven't exactly been slumping. Hope it's just some internal reorg and not something more serious.
