Anyone else feeling the DoorDash vibe shift?

Hey everyone, long-time lurker here. Not seeing any official news or anything concrete, but there's this general feeling in the air, you know? Like things are getting tighter. Seeing a lot of folks on other platforms talking about cuts, and while DD hasn't announced anything, I can't shake this uneasy feeling. Been with the company for a few years now, and while it's been great, lately it feels like the ground is a bit shaky. Performance reviews are coming up, and the emphasis on 'efficiency' and 'optimization' feels... intense. Anyone else picking up on this? Or am I just overthinking things because of all the noise out there from other tech companies? Trying not to panic, but man, it's hard not to feel a little anxious.

I'm feeling it too. It's like the golden days are fading. Used to be you could make decent money with a few hours, now it feels like a constant hustle just to break even. The batch pay seems to be shrinking, and the higher-paying orders are rare gems. Makes you wonder what the long-term plan is for us drivers.

Definitely sensing a change. The algorithm feels different lately, and it seems like we're getting fewer good offers. Lots of 'hidden' fees and fewer peak pay opportunities. It's a shame because DoorDash was such a flexible option, but if it's not sustainable for drivers, people will eventually move on.
