I'm so tired of the constant pressure and uncertainty. Every quarter it's the same song and dance – targets, metrics, 'doing more with less'. Meanwhile, the execs are raking in millions. I've been busting my ass in Marketing for almost 4 years now, and I'm honestly burnt out. If they're planning layoffs, they should just rip the bandaid off already instead of letting us all twist in the wind. I'm actively looking for a new job, but the market is rough. I feel like I'm just waiting for the inevitable.

I hear you. The constant performance pressure is brutal. I'm not in Marketing, but I've seen some truly talented people leave because they just couldn't take it anymore. It does feel like a slow-motion layoff sometimes. Don't give up on the job search though. Network like crazy, polish that resume, and keep applying. Something will eventually break. Good luck!

Seriously? Four years at DoorDash and you're surprised? It's a high-growth company in a cutthroat industry. Pressure is kind of the name of the game. While I sympathize with burnout, expecting a different experience at a company like that seems a little naive. If it's not a fit, definitely move on, but maybe adjust your expectations for your next gig too.
