Hey everyone, I'm seeing a lot of noise online, particularly on some tech forums, about potential layoffs at Dow, mentioning large numbers and even AI-related shifts. Honestly, that feels a bit disconnected from what I'm hearing day-to-day in my department. Things are definitely busy, and we're focused on hitting Q4 targets, but I haven't seen any official communication or even strong internal rumors about mass layoffs. Is anyone else in a different division hearing anything concrete? Could this be spillover from other companies making cuts, or is there a specific initiative happening at Dow that I'm not privy to? Just trying to get a clearer picture before the holiday season. Trying not to stress if it's just internet chatter, but any insider info would be appreciated.

That's interesting you're seeing that online. In my department, it's business as usual, and we're all heads down working towards our end-of-year goals.
