Dow: Anyone else feeling the uncertainty?

Been with Dow for a few years now, and honestly, the vibe has shifted. There's been a lot of talk recently, not just online but internally too, about 'efficiency drives' and 'strategic realignments.' It's vague, which is the worst part. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. We had that big company-wide meeting last week, and the CEO talked a lot about adapting to market changes, which sounds good on paper, but it feels like code for something else. People are definitely on edge, trying to figure out which departments might be more exposed. Anyone else in a similar boat? Seeing any unusual project freezes or hiring slowdowns in your area? Just trying to get a pulse on things and see if my unease is shared.

I hear you. The 'efficiency' talk always makes me nervous. It usually translates to people looking over their shoulders. Hopefully, it's just standard corporate maneuvering and not something more serious. I'm keeping a close eye on the news and internal communications, trying to read between the lines, but it's tough. Waiting for more concrete information rather than just buzzwords.

Totally. The constant talk about 'strategic realignments' feels like a drumbeat for layoffs or restructuring, doesn't it? It's hard to stay focused when there's so much ambiguity. I'm trying to stay positive and just do my job, but that nagging feeling of uncertainty is definitely there. Let's hope the leadership provides some clarity soon.
