Dow's future: What's the plan?

With all the news about other big players adjusting their headcounts, I'm starting to wonder about Dow. We've been pretty stable for a while, but that doesn't mean we're immune. Is anyone hearing anything internally about the company's long-term strategy or if there are plans to streamline operations? I'm not talking about specific numbers, just general direction. Are we investing heavily in certain areas that might mean cuts in others? Or is the focus on growth and expansion? Would love to hear any perspectives from people closer to the decision-making or those who have a good sense of the company's pulse. Trying to gauge the landscape.

I've been with Dow for quite some time, and while it's true we haven't seen the drastic layoffs other companies have, it's wise to stay observant. My sense, based on industry trends and some of the R&D projects I've seen glimpses of, is that there's a significant push towards sustainability and advanced materials. This often means reallocating resources, which could impact less strategic divisions. I haven't heard any concrete talk of major workforce adjustments, but a shift in focus is definitely palpable. It's more about evolving with the market than outright contraction, in my opinion.
