Anyone else feeling nervous about performance reviews this year?

Is it just me, or is everyone else on edge about performance reviews this time around? I've been at Dropbox for 4 years, on the Sales Enablement team, and usually it's pretty chill. But I keep hearing whispers in the virtual hallways about "restructuring" and "efficiency improvements". My gut is telling me something's up. I've consistently exceeded expectations, but that doesn't seem to matter much these days. Anyone have any inside info, or just feeling the same vibes?

I'm in a different department (Engineering), but I've definitely noticed the same shift. More scrutiny on projects, more questions about ROI. Even some vague hints during team meetings about "aligning with strategic priorities." I'd say focus on quantifying your achievements as much as possible. Hard numbers always play better when they're looking to cut costs. Good luck to you!

Honestly, the "exceeded expectations" line sounds like what everyone says. If you *really* killed it, you probably wouldn't be worried. Dropbox has been coasting for years. Time for a reality check; you might need to update that resume, just in case. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. On the bright side, the job market is still hot.
