Duke Energy: Feeling the pinch in my department, anyone else?

Hey all, just checking in. Been at Duke for a few years now, and lately, things have felt... different. Not in a good way. My department has been under a lot of pressure to cut costs, and it feels like they're really squeezing us. We've lost a couple of people to 'natural attrition' over the last few months, but no one's been replaced, and the workload is definitely increasing. Management keeps talking about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining,' but it's hard not to feel like something bigger is brewing. Anyone else in other departments experiencing this kind of 'leaner' push? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or just our corner of the business. It's making me a bit uneasy, to be honest.
