Duke Energy: Management seems more distant lately

Is it just me, or has communication from senior leadership become really sparse and vague lately? My manager is usually pretty open, but even they're giving non-answers when we ask about future projects or departmental goals. It's like the higher-ups are in a bunker somewhere. I remember last year, we had town halls and Q&A sessions, but those have dried up. All we get are generic emails about company values and 'navigating the current economic climate.' It feels like they're holding something back. I'm wondering if this is a sign of belt-tightening or if they're just bad at communicating. Makes it tough to stay motivated when you feel out of the loop and like the rug could be pulled out from under you at any moment. Anyone else picking up on this shift in transparency?
