Feeling the pressure, any Duke Energy folks in the same boat?

Just wanted to vent a bit and see if anyone else at Duke Energy is feeling the squeeze. Workload feels heavier than ever, and there seems to be less support trickling down. Budgets are tighter, and we're being asked to do more with less. It’s making it hard to stay motivated, honestly. I've been through ups and downs with the company, but this feels like a new level of 'efficiency drive' that's really starting to impact morale. Anyone else in a similar situation? Wondering if this is a company-wide push or if it’s department-specific. Trying to understand the landscape better. Is anyone else feeling this constant pressure to perform without the necessary resources? It's exhausting.

Definitely feel this. The workload has been insane lately, and the constant budget constraints make it feel like we're swimming upstream. It's tough when you're trying to deliver quality work but feel like you're constantly fighting for resources or having to cut corners. Morale definitely takes a hit when you see those efficiency drives translating into more stress for the frontline staff.

You're not alone. I've noticed the same pressures building over the past year. It feels like the expectations keep rising while the support systems are shrinking. Trying to stay positive and focused, but it's becoming increasingly challenging to see the light at the end of the tunnel with these operational changes. Hopefully, things will shift for the better soon.
