DuPont - Anyone else feeling the quiet before the storm?

Hey everyone, Been with DuPont for a few years now, and lately, the vibe has been...off. It's not just one thing, but a collection of small signs. Meetings are being consolidated, some projects seem to be winding down faster than expected, and there's a general air of 'watchful waiting.' I've heard whispers, but nothing concrete. It feels like management is being cagey about the future, which is making a lot of us anxious. Has anyone else picked up on this? Is it just my department, or is this a wider DuPont thing? Trying to get a pulse on what's really going on without causing undue panic. Just hoping for some clarity, or at least to know I'm not imagining things. Stay safe out there.

I'm feeling it too. Things have definitely changed over the past year. More emphasis on 'synergies' and 'optimization,' which usually translates to belt-tightening. Been here a while and the shift is palpable. Trying to stay positive, but the lack of clear communication on future direction is unsettling. Hope it's just a phase.

Interesting post. My experience isn't quite the same, but I agree there's an unusual quiet. We've had some senior folks leave recently, and the hiring freeze is still in effect. It makes you wonder what's coming next. I'm focusing on my work and staying adaptable, but the uncertainty is definitely a factor.
