DuPont - Anyone else seeing hiring freeze rumors?

Been hearing whispers through the grapevine about a potential hiring freeze across several divisions at DuPont. My manager is being super cagey when I ask about open requisitions for my team. Feels like things are tightening up, but there's no official word. Has anyone else picked up on anything similar? Or am I just overthinking the usual end-of-year budget crunch? It's hard to tell what's real when there's so much quiet. Curious if others are seeing the same signs or if it's just my corner of the company.

Yeah, I've been hearing similar rumblings myself. It's not just your department, it seems. There's definitely a cautious atmosphere, and a lot of open positions seem to be on hold or moving incredibly slowly. It's tough when management isn't being transparent, makes everyone anxious about job security and future projects. Hopefully, it's just a temporary belt-tightening measure and not something more serious.
