Performance Improvement Plans and 'Right-Sizing' at DuPont?

Feeling a bit anxious here at DuPont. Lately, I've noticed an uptick in managers discussing "performance improvement plans" and vaguely referencing "right-sizing" teams. It feels like a precursor to something, and frankly, it’s creating a pretty uncomfortable atmosphere. Has anyone else experienced this recently? Are these just standard HR processes, or is there a real push to trim headcount under the guise of performance? My team hasn't been directly impacted yet, but the uncertainty is palpable. Trying to understand if this is a company-wide trend or localized to certain departments. Any intel on how these PIPs are typically handled or if they're leading to actual separations would be helpful. Just trying to get a read on the situation before it potentially hits home.
