Eastman Chemical - Anyone else noticing hiring freezes?

Is it just me, or has Eastman basically stopped hiring altogether? I know a few positions were open a couple of months back, and they seem to have stalled out. Reqs are still up, but interviews have dried up and no offers are being extended. Feels like a hiring freeze is in effect, even if they aren't calling it that. It’s making it tough for my team to fill critical gaps. Wondering if this is a company-wide thing or specific to certain departments. Been trying to get clarity from HR but they're being pretty tight-lipped. Just trying to gauge the situation. Anyone else seeing this? What's the vibe at your location or in your division?

I've noticed a similar trend in my department. Positions we were actively recruiting for a quarter ago seem to be on indefinite hold. It's frustrating, especially when we have critical needs that aren't being met. HR has been pretty tight-lipped about the specifics, just vague statements about 'adjusting to market conditions.' It certainly feels like more than just a slowdown, given the lack of communication and stalled processes. Hope we get some clarity soon.

Yeah, the hiring freeze talk is definitely circulating here too. It's tough to see roles stay open for so long without any movement. My team has been trying to fill a key position for months, and it feels like we're stuck in limbo. The requirements are still listed, but there's zero traction on interviews or offers. It's making strategic planning really difficult when you can't bring in the talent you need.
