Eastman Chemical - Morale check, anyone?

Is it just me, or has morale taken a hit lately at Eastman? I've been hearing some concerning whispers, nothing concrete in terms of official announcements, but the undercurrent is definitely there. People are a bit more guarded, productivity seems to be scrutinized more closely, and there's a general sense of unease. I'm not talking about major layoffs yet, but it feels like a precursor to something, or at least a significant slowdown. Anyone in different divisions experiencing the same? Are performance reviews suddenly feeling more... evaluative? Trying to get a pulse on the company without causing unnecessary panic, but I think we can all admit things feel a bit unstable right now. Just want to know if I'm alone in this perception or if it's a company-wide feeling. Appreciate any honest takes.

I've definitely felt a shift in the atmosphere. It's subtle, but you can sense a difference in how people interact and approach their work. Conversations seem more guarded, and there's a palpable feeling of uncertainty that wasn't there before. It's hard to pinpoint, but it's definitely noticeable across different teams I interact with. Hoping it's just a temporary phase and things will pick up soon.

It's not just you. I've observed a similar trend. There's a heightened sense of scrutiny on performance metrics, and the general mood feels a bit more tense than usual. People are hesitant to voice concerns openly, which I think is a symptom of the underlying unease. It's making it a bit challenging to maintain the usual collaborative spirit. Curious to see if leadership addresses this soon.
