Eaton - Anyone else feeling the budget squeeze?

Has anyone else noticed a pretty significant tightening of the purse strings around Eaton recently? My team's been told to push back on non-essential travel and training for the rest of the year, which is a pretty sharp change from last quarter. We're also seeing some project scopes being re-evaluated, with a focus on "core business" initiatives. It feels like management is getting ready for something, even if nothing's been said directly. Wondering if this is happening across the board or if it's specific to certain business units. Trying to understand the bigger picture before I start worrying too much, but these budget talks are definitely raising eyebrows. Anyone have any intel from their leaders about upcoming financial outlooks or strategic shifts?

Yeah, definitely feeling it here too. We had a similar memo about travel and had a couple of planned external training sessions get postponed indefinitely. They're framing it as a strategic alignment, but it feels more like a general cost-control measure. Projects that were greenlit a few months ago are now under review, and the approval process for anything outside of immediate revenue generation has become incredibly slow. It’s making it tough to plan and execute effectively when resources seem to be drying up unexpectedly. Makes you wonder what the long-term outlook is if they're pulling back this hard now.
