Eaton - Anyone Else Feeling the Pressure Lately?

Hey everyone. Haven't seen any official news, but there's definitely a weird vibe going around Eaton lately. Been hearing a lot of whispers about 'restructuring' and 'efficiency drives' that sound a little too familiar. My department's been under more scrutiny than usual, and some key projects have been put on hold indefinitely. Anyone else in a similar boat? Is this just a general market correction thing, or is there something specific brewing at Eaton that we should be aware of? Curious to hear if anyone has any insights or has heard anything more concrete. Trying to stay positive but it's hard not to worry when the atmosphere gets this tense.

Yeah, I'm feeling it too. Been with Eaton for a while, and this 'efficiency' talk feels like a precursor to something bigger. Projects getting stalled and increased scrutiny are definitely red flags. It's hard to get a straight answer from management, which only adds to the anxiety. Just hoping it doesn't lead to layoffs, but it's hard not to worry with all the uncertainty. I've noticed the shift as well. My team's been asked to cut costs across the board, and there's a general sense of unease. It's unsettling when there's no clear communication about what's happening. Trying to stay focused on my work, but the constant rumors are hard to ignore. Hopefully, it's just standard business cycle adjustments, but the intensity feels different this time.
