Just saw the news about another wave of layoffs at EA. Honestly, it's getting predictable. They always spin it as 'strategic realignment' or 'focusing on key growth areas,' but it always seems to boil down to cutting headcount. This has been happening year after year. It makes you wonder about the long-term stability and planning within the company. Are they just consistently over-hiring, or is there a deeper issue with how they manage their resources and projects? I've got friends there, and the atmosphere must be pretty tense right now. Every time there's a hint of bad financial news or a project gets canned, you know layoffs are likely on the horizon. It's tough for the people affected, and it creates a sense of unease for everyone else still there. Feels like we're just waiting for the next 'reorganization.'
