Eli Lilly: What's the vibe on the ground?

Hey everyone, been with Lilly for a few years now and things feel… interesting. The pipeline looks great, especially with everything around Zepbound and Mounjaro. Stock's been going nuts, which is usually a good sign. But I've also been hearing whispers, same as a lot of you probably. No official word, of course, but the general economic climate and the sheer pace of innovation means companies are always evaluating. Anyone else in different departments noticing anything? Are projects being slowed down, or is it just my imagination running wild? Trying to get a pulse on whether this is just market noise or if there's something concrete we should be aware of. Curious to hear what others are seeing and hearing, especially in R&D and manufacturing. Trying to stay optimistic, but a little transparency or insight would be helpful.

It's definitely an exciting time, especially with the success of the GLP-1 drugs. The market's clearly responding well to the innovation, and it feels like there's a lot of positive momentum. I haven't personally noticed any slowdowns in my area, but I can see how the broader economic picture could lead to some cautious optimism and strategic reviews. I'm hearing similar buzz. The pipeline is undeniably strong, and the recent financial performance speaks for itself. However, 'interesting' is a good word for it – there's always that undercurrent of strategic assessment, especially with how fast things change in pharma. I'm more on the R&D side, and we're pushing forward, but it's understandable that other areas might be feeling the effects of market shifts or internal evaluations.
