Lilly - Anyone else hearing whispers about budget cuts?

Hey all, been at Lilly for a few years now, and things have been pretty steady, or so I thought. Lately, I've been hearing some chatter in different teams about tighter budgets and project reviews. It's not overt, but there's a definite feeling of 'belt-tightening' going on. Has anyone else picked up on this? Is it specific to certain divisions, or is this a company-wide vibe? Trying to gauge if this is just my perception or if others are seeing/hearing the same thing. No concrete news, just trying to connect the dots. Curious about what people are thinking out there.

I've been with Lilly for a while, and yes, I've definitely picked up on similar murmurs. It's not as loud as a formal announcement, but the increased scrutiny on project spending and the general atmosphere of caution are palpable. It seems to be more pronounced in some of the R&D departments, but I've heard it mentioned in other areas too. Hoping it's just a standard fiscal year adjustment and not a sign of bigger issues down the line. It's always a bit unnerving when the purse strings feel tighter.
