Lilly - Layoffs on the horizon?

Been with Lilly for a few years now, and lately, the vibe has felt... off. Heard some chatter through the grapevine, nothing concrete, but enough to make me nervous. Project timelines seem a bit tighter, and there's been a noticeable increase in 'efficiency' discussions in leadership meetings. Wondering if anyone else is picking up on this or if it's just my team feeling the squeeze. Is it just me, or does it feel like the calm before a storm? Trying not to panic, but the uncertainty is definitely starting to wear on me. Any intel from other departments or levels would be appreciated. Just looking for some clarity or maybe some reassurance if I'm overthinking this.

I'm hearing similar things across different departments. The 'efficiency' buzzwords are definitely out there, and frankly, it's making a lot of people uneasy. It's hard not to feel a bit anxious when you sense a shift, even if nothing's been officially announced. I'm hoping it's just restructuring and not the precursor to significant cuts, but the whispers are persistent.

I've been at Lilly for a while too and haven't personally felt that "off" vibe quite as strongly, though I can see how project pressures might feel that way. Leadership is always talking about optimizing processes, and sometimes that can create an unsettling atmosphere even without layoffs. Let's hope it's just the usual corporate speak and not something more serious.
