Seriously, is it just me or has the atmosphere at Emerson become weirdly tense lately? It's not just my department either; I've talked to a few people across different sites and they're getting the same feeling. Budgets seem tighter, and there's a lot more scrutiny on expenses. Even simple things like approving new software or travel requests feel like pulling teeth. No official word on layoffs, and frankly, I haven't heard of anyone getting the boot, but this underlying anxiety is real. It's making it hard to focus on actual work when you're constantly wondering what's next. Anyone else experiencing this, and if so, what are you hearing from management or unofficial channels?
