Anyone else feel like Entergy's restructuring is a precursor to layoffs?

Hey everyone, been at Entergy for a few years now, and lately, things feel... off. There's been a lot of talk about 'streamlining operations' and 'optimizing our workforce.' We've seen some departments consolidate, and there's been an increased focus on reducing overhead. While nothing's been officially announced, the vibe in the office is getting tense. It feels like management is doing a lot of shuffling, and honestly, it smells like they're clearing the decks before something bigger happens. Has anyone else picked up on this? Any insights from other departments or regions? Trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or just my specific area. Just want to be prepared, you know?

I'm in a similar boat. The constant reorgs and 'efficiency drives' are definitely unsettling. It's hard not to feel like job security is dwindling when you see these changes happening all around. Management's vague language doesn't help much either; it just fuels the speculation. Keeping my resume updated, just in case.

It's a worrying trend across many industries, not just Entergy. Companies often use these restructuring periods to trim down.
