Anyone else notice strange hiring freezes/budget cuts at Entergy?

Okay, so officially nothing's been said about layoffs at Entergy, but I've been noticing some odd things over the past couple of months. My department's been told that new hires are on hold indefinitely, even for critical roles. Also, budgets for training and travel have been slashed pretty significantly. It feels like a prelude to something, even if it's not an outright layoff event. We've had a few 'reorganizations' lately that seem to shuffle people around rather than eliminate roles, but this hiring freeze and budget tightening feels different. It's creating a lot of extra work for those of us still here. Is this happening in other areas of the company? Is management being unusually quiet about the financial outlook? Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide strategy or isolated to certain divisions. Any insights would be appreciated.
