Hey all, been at Entergy for a few years now and lately, the atmosphere feels... off. Not hearing any concrete news or official announcements, but there's a definite buzz. Project scopes seem to be getting tighter, some roles are being restructured, and there's just this general sense of holding our breath. Anyone else picking up on this? Seeing increased meetings about 'efficiency' or 'optimization' that sound a bit too familiar? Wondering if it's just company-wide jitters or if there's something more substantial brewing that hasn't hit the mainstream channels yet. Yeah, I'm feeling it too. Lots of 'synergy' meetings lately that just seem to boil down to doing more with less. Feels like management is trying to signal something without actually saying it. My team's workload has definitely ramped up, and the whispers about potential reorganizations are getting louder. Hopefully, it's nothing major, but the uncertainty is definitely palpable.

Interesting that you're picking up on the same things. I've noticed the project budgets feeling much leaner, and there's a lot more focus on individual performance metrics than collaborative efforts. It creates a bit of a competitive, almost anxious, vibe. Management is definitely using a lot of buzzwords, which often precedes some sort of change, whether it's restructuring or budget cuts. Just trying to stay heads down and do good work in the meantime.
