Layoff concerns at Entergy - what's the real story?

Been seeing a lot of chatter online and hearing hushed conversations at work about potential layoffs at Entergy. Nothing official has come out, which is kind of worse, to be honest. The silence is deafening. I've noticed a dip in the usual hiring pace, and some internal project scopes seem to have shrunk unexpectedly.
