Rumblings of potential impact at Entergy – anyone hearing specifics?

Lurking for a while, but felt compelled to post. There's been a definite shift in atmosphere at Entergy recently. While there hasn't been a big, public announcement, I'm hearing more and more about potential 'streamlining' efforts across different divisions. Some roles are being reviewed, and there's a general feeling of 'waiting for the other shoe to drop.' I'm in [Department X] and we've definitely seen some shifts in project priorities and headcounts have been frozen for a bit. It's making planning for the future pretty difficult. Anyone else in a similar boat? Especially interested in hearing from people in [different department Y] or [different department Z] if they've experienced anything similar or heard anything more concrete. Trying to stay positive but the lack of transparency is really getting to me. Just want to know what to expect.

Yeah, I've picked up on some similar vibes. It feels like a lot of departments are being asked to do more with less, and there's a general unease about what that really means long-term. The 'streamlining' talk is definitely circulating, and honestly, it's hard not to feel a bit anxious when things feel so uncertain. Hopefully, it leads to actual positive changes and not just job cuts.

Interesting to hear someone else is noticing the atmosphere change. I've been hearing whispers about a company-wide efficiency drive. While efficiency can be good, the way it's being implemented feels a bit opaque. Projects are being re-evaluated, and there's definitely a sense of holding your breath. I'm curious to see if this leads to any concrete plans or if it's just more talk for now.
