Anyone else feeling the pressure at Equinix?

Hey all, just wanted to see if anyone else is feeling a bit uneasy lately at Equinix. No official word on anything, but there's definitely a different vibe in the air. Been seeing more closed-door meetings, whispers about 'optimizations,' and a general slowdown in hiring for some teams. My team's workload hasn't really decreased, but the focus seems to be on 'efficiency' more than ever. Curious if others are noticing similar things or if it's just my perception. Anyone have any insider info or just general feelings about the company's direction right now? Trying not to spiral, but it's hard not to notice the shifts.

Yeah, I've definitely picked up on that too. The "efficiency" talk is constant, and it feels like they're squeezing more out of existing resources rather than investing in growth. It's unsettling not having clear communication when there's so much speculation floating around. Makes you wonder what the long-term plan really is.

I can relate to that feeling. While my team hasn't seen major changes, the overall atmosphere has shifted. More emphasis on process improvement and cutting costs is noticeable. It's not necessarily negative, but it does create a sense of uncertainty, especially with the hiring freezes. Hoping it's just a temporary adjustment phase.
