Anyone else notice the weird vibes at Equinix lately?

Hey everyone, been with Equinix for a few years now, primarily in a facilities/operations role. Lately, I've been picking up on some… unusual vibes. It's not like there's a big announcement or anything, but there are definitely whispers and a general sense of caution. We've had a few 'reorganizations' that felt more like shuffling deck chairs, and some projects that were previously greenlit are now mysteriously on hold indefinitely. Budgets seem tighter than usual, and there's been a noticeable slowdown in hiring for non-critical roles. I'm not trying to be alarmist, but it feels like something is brewing beneath the surface. Anyone else in similar roles or departments experiencing this? Curious to hear if others are feeling this shift or if it's just my team/location.

Yeah, I've been feeling it too. It's like the usual buzz is gone, replaced by this underlying tension. The 'reorgs' you mentioned are definitely a red flag, especially when they don't seem to achieve much. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. Hoping it's just a temporary phase, but it's hard not to be a bit concerned.

Interesting to hear others feel the same. I'm in a different department, but the same sense of unease is palpable. Projects on hold and tighter budgets are always a bit unsettling, and when it's coupled with vague communication, it breeds uncertainty. Trying to stay focused on my own work, but the atmosphere is definitely different lately.
