Anyone else noticing the travel freeze?

Is it just my region or is the travel freeze hitting everyone in Real Estate? I’ve had three site visits canceled this month alone, and my manager is suddenly auditing every single expense report from Q1 with a fine-tooth comb. It feels like the company is trying to make the quarterly numbers look better by squeezing the T&E budget until it pips. I’ve heard whispers about a potential re-org in the planning department, but nothing concrete. Every meeting lately starts with 'optimizing resources' and 'efficiency,' which we all know is corporate speak for 'stop spending money.' If you’re in a role that requires a lot of on-site work, are you seeing this too, or is it just my department being targeted for cuts? Trying to figure out if I should start polishing the resume now or if this is just typical end-of-quarter pressure.
